Hear from Abby Maxman, the leader of  prominent international humanitarian organization Oxfam America, about their organizing, direct relief, and research work aimed at reducing inequality in the global pandemic response. In the first part of the discussion, Anna Gassman-Pines of the Duke Center for Child and Family Policy explores inequality issues in the U.S. The second half of the discussion, with Sarah Bermeo of the Duke Center for International Development, focuses on inequality on a global scale, specifically the challenges facing developing countries. The program closes with audience Q&A.
