Joshua Barkan

Joshua Barkan is Associate Professor of Geography at the University of Georgia. His research interests include critical social theory, legal and economic geography, globalization and state theory, and corporations and sovereignty.  He is the author of Corporate Sovereignty: Law and Government under Capitalism (Minnesota, 2013) as well as a variety of articles and other publications on the nature of the corporation, the corporate person, and the corporation as an institution in modern political theory.
