The exam is scheduled for Friday, March 21, from 3:05 to 4:20 pm ET in Biological Sciences 130 (same location as the lecture). If you have accommodations from SDAO, you’ll hear from the instructor soon about details.
The exam content will encompass material from lectures 1-13 and homework assignments 1-3.
The exam will be conducted under closed-book conditions, without the use of notes, books, laptops, internet, or external assistance. However, you are allowed to use a one-page cheat sheet (two-sided) of your own design, which can be handwritten or typed. You may also use a basic, non-programmable calculator, though it is optional.
Note that exam questions may require you to extend or combine basic ideas and algorithms from class. Ensure you comprehend the fundamentals alongside being able to procedurally execute algorithms. The exam will not assess your coding skills.
