The IUSSP and the Asian Meta Center of Population and Sustainable Development Analysis, IUSSP committee on Healthy Longevity, and the CLHLS jointly organized this workshop. About 20 international scholars and 25 scholars from China participated in this workshop.
China National Conference on Health of the Elderly and Socio-economic Development, May 12-13, 2004, Beijing. About 150 scholars from universities, institutes, relevant governmental agencies attended this national conference organized jointly by the Center for Healthy Aging and Family Studies at Peking University and the China National Research Center on Aging. Among the 76 papers submitted to this conference, 39 papers mainly used the CLHLS data.
