Geriatric Dentistry Fellowship Program

Through a two year Geriatric Dentistry Fellowship, fellows acquire skills in the management of medically complex elderly and receive training in teaching, evidence-based practice and clinical research. Clinical experiences available at Durham VA Medical Center include multi-disciplinary rounds, conferences, and an off-site outpatient rotation. Reynolds Faculty Mini-Fellowship Development Program

The Donald W. Reynolds Foundation supports Duke’s mini-fellowship program through its Consortium for Faculty Development to Advance Geriatric Education (FD~AGE). The program offers one-week mini-fellowships to cover topics and trends in medical education on the care of older adults. Focused on faculty development, the programs are aimed at expanding the curriculum design and clinical teachings skills of clinician educators. The mini-fellowships provide participants with the knowledge, skills and resources necessary to improve geriatrics education and positively impact patient care.
