Advanced Challenges in Theory and Practice in 3D Modeling of Cultural Heritage Sites

This NEH Advanced Topics in the Digital Humanities Summer Institute, co-hosted by Arkansas State University and UCLA, will consider advanced problems and issues facing scholars working with 3D content with an emphasis on the end user experience. This institute will take place over two consecutive summers. In 2015, participants, including Prof. Maurizio Forte from Duke University, will gather for a week at ASU to discuss key issues and challenges with institute faculty, and define research questions that they will explore in the subsequent academic year. In 2016, participants will present their findings at a three-day symposium to be held at UCLA.
