BioMetals 2014 was held at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. This interdisciplinary meeting built on the previous eight biennial meetings of the International Biometals Society and explored new and exciting research in the broad area of metals in biology.
196 participants (176 full participants) represented 5 continents and over 25 countries. Participants included Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students, Post-doctoral trainees, Early Career Scientists, and Established Investigators from academic institutions, government laboratories, and industry. The Technical Program included 3 Keynotes, 24 Invited Lectures, 34 Contributed Short Talks, and 110 Posters. The Conference Program Book can be found under the Scientific Program menu option.
