This afternoon I came into possession of a small banjo. I’d estimate less than half-size. It is a 5 string identical to bluegrass banjo,
but small. The headstock has a star inlay with the inlay gone. The body
is wood and I believe bronze. It has a brass plaque with the name
Thomas Benton beautifully engraved. I have photos. It is definitely a high quality instrument. If someone could
drop me an email I’ll send them. Thanks!
