Please join AGS and the Sanford School of Public Policy as we welcome Congressman Adam Schiff (CA-28)! He will deliver the Terry Sanford Distinguished Lecture, “Challenges to Our National Security and Democracy” on Monday, October 30 at 5:30 p.m. in Penn Pavilion.
For the discussion, Challenges To Our National Security and Democracy, Rep. Adam Schiff will draw on his current role as the Ranking Member, or top Democrat, on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. This committee oversees the nation’s intelligence agencies including components of the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, Justice, State and Energy, and is currently playing a leadership role in an investigation into Russia’s active measures campaign targeting the 2016 election.
