We evaluate your symptoms, listen to your concerns, and work with you to help you manage ADHD. We help you figure out how to organize your life, manage your time, and learn how to focus.
We recommend the most appropriate treatment to help you or your child manage ADHD, and teach the age-specific skills needed to live with it confidently.

Full Psychological Evaluations for Adults
For an ADHD evaluation for adults, we do a full psychological evaluation to be able to determine ADHD and to rule out any other alternative causes of symptoms. The clinicians will use the following measures/instruments to help them determine their diagnosis. Forms for patient to complete:
-Conners Adult ADHD Diagnostic Interview History Form
-Conners Adult ADHD Self-Report
-Childhood Symptoms Scale-Self-Report Form
-Short Adult Delay Aversion Questionnaire
-BAARS-IV-Self-Report Version
-Computerized psychiatric screener
-Clinical interviewsForms for someone who knows the patient well (parent, partner, friend, etc.) to complete:
-Conners Adult ADHD Observer Report
-Childhood Symptoms Scale-Other Report Form
-BAARS-IV-Other Report Version
The appointments are usually Monday mornings @ 8 for 4-41/2 hours.

 
Full Psychological Evaluations for Children
For an ADHD evaluation for children, we do a full psychological evaluation to be able to determine ADHD and to rule out any other alternative causes of symptoms.The clinicians will use the following measures/instruments to help them determine their diagnosis.
-Conners-March Developmental Questionnaire
-Social Responsiveness Scale-2
-Conners 3 Rating Scales (youth, parent and teacher forms)
-Vanderbilt ADHD Diagnostic Teacher Rating Scale
-Narrative Description of Child
-Computerized psychiatric screener (youth report and parent report)
-A semi-structured interview of ADHD symptoms
-Clinical interviews with child and parent
The appointments are usually Monday mornings @ 8 for 4-41/2 hours.

 
Psycho-educational Testing
If additional testing for a learning disability is needed, some of the assessments that we might use could include the following: This would be determined after the clinician had a chance to review patients information.
-Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Fifth Edition
-Woodcock Johnson Tests of Achievement-Fourth Edition
-Wechsler Individual Achievement Test-Third Edition
-Comprehensive Test of Phonological Processing-Second Edition
-Beery-Buktenica Development Test of Visual Motor Integration- Sixth Edition
This testing is usually broken up into two 3-4 hour appointments.
