About the 9th Street Journal

The 9th Street Journal is published by students in the Advanced Reporting Lab course at the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University. The project is edited by Bill Adair, the Knight Professor for the Practice of Journalism & Public Policy at Sanford and the director of the DeWitt Wallace Center for Media & Democracy.

The goal of the 9th Street Journal is to provide news and feature articles about Durham and give the students an opportunity to cover important issues in urban America.

We welcome feedback and suggestions about stories or topics to cover.
