  • Readers: Read note to author; respond to questions.

Choose a time-keeper: 15 minutes per draft; return to class at 2:20

Writers

  • Select somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 of your text to read aloud
  • Pose a specific question or concern about that section

Readers

  • Respond to questions/concerns posed by writers
  • Point to a specific moment in the text where the writer can use your advice to add, cut, or tweak her or his text
  • Add to the responses that have come before (both in writing and conversation)
