  • Readers: Read note to author; respond to questions.

  2. Wed, 4/18, class: Bring print copy of  e2.d1.1
  3. Mon, 4/23, or Tues, 4/24: Conferences. Bring annotated copy of e2.d1.5

Writing groups: Workshop e1.d1

Choose a time-keeper: 15 minutes per draft; return to class at 2:20

Writers

  • Select somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 of your text to read aloud
  • Pose a specific question or concern about that section

Readers

  • Respond to questions/concerns posed by writers
  • Point to a specific moment in the text where the writer can use your advice to add, cut, or tweak her or his text
  • Add to the responses that have come before (both in writing and conversation)

  1. Wed, 2/22, class: Document design. Bring a copy of your e1.d1.
  2. Thurs, 2/23, 9:00 am: Email x6 (revising plan) to me at jdharris57@gmail.com.
  3. Mon, 2/27, or Tues, 2/28: Bring annotated version of draft to conference.

  3. Mon, 2/20, class: Workshop e1.d1. Bring a clean print-out of your own draft and copies of the other drafts with your comments on them.
  4. Wed, 2/22, class: Document design. Bring a copy of your e1.d1.
