The Wesley House is a premier place of hospitality for the Wesley Fellowship, where at any given time, several undergraduate and graduate students have the opportunity share in life together in Christian community. This doesn’t just include house residents, since the house belongs to the whole community, and you can find students here at all hours studying, fellowshipping, playing music, watching basketball, pot-lucking, and occasionally learning the ins-and-outs of home maintenance. It is at once a refuge from overly-busy weekday schedules and a launch-point for weekend outings, all conveniently across the street from East campus at the corner of N. Buchanan Blvd and W. Main St. Throughout the year, we host a variety of small groups, dinners, holiday parties, worship meetings, open houses, and other events, as well as providing space for affiliated church groups to meet for bible studies or small groups.
A Bit of House History:
Located at 106 N. Buchanan Blvd. (at the corner of Main and Buchanan), the Wesley House is just off East Campus. Walk towards the main entrance to East from Main St.. Take a left at the front of the East Duke Building and follow the trail across the lawn until you reach the break in the East Campus wall to Buchanan St. Turn right at the wall (walking on the sidewalk outside the wall) and continue towards the intersection. Look for the big yellow house on the corner (to your left).
