Diego

Hi everyone, I’m Diego Quezada. I am a public policy major, and immigration reform is my passion, partly due to my background as the son of immigrants. I have been able to fuel my passion at Duke thanks to the two courses on immigration I took with Gunther Peck, my DukeEngage experience with the Tucson program and my pub pol internship with the Center for American Progress’ immigration team. When I’m not focusing on my studies or activism, you may see me listening to rap music, excitedly watching the Miami Heat or shamelessly eating food in someone else’s apartment. Joining Ubuntu has been the best decision I’ve made at Duke, and I’m excited to get to know you all.
