Well hi! I’m Hannah. I grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where they speak Standard American English and occasionally frolic in cornfields. I’m an ENFJ (if you’re into Meyers-Briggs), which helps explain some things about me, including why I hated high school Econ, and why I cry so damn much at movies.  My least favorite internet-related phenomenon is the use of the hashtag in verbal communication. A double-major in Public Policy and Environmental Science, I have vague ideas about what I want to do when I grow up: facilitate community-based conservation efforts, perhaps! Or help restructure US food policy! I’d love to talk to you about why you eat what you eat (and how?). Lately I’ve been on a baked-goods-with-produce kick (banana bread, pumpkin pie, beet cake), and I like to share!  I’m super enthusiastic about Ubuntu, this odd accumulation of some of the most interesting, smart, and passionate people to be found at Duke.
