AFS personal home directories to be migrated to CIFS

After this fall’s successful pilot of CIFS-supported (Common Internet File System) personal home directories, as a replacement for AFS/WebFiles this fall, all active AFS/WebFiles user home directors will be migrated to CIFS beginning Dec. 17. By early January, students, faculty and staff will be able to access their personal home directories by mounting them in a way similar to any other mounted drive or device. Go here for details:
