Decreasing biodiversity on our planet is a growing problem, and one that will significantly impact it.   We as humans gain countless resources and benefits from the species that we have discovered, but many more could be unlocked if we knew every one of the estimated 100 million species on Earth.  Unfortunately, more are becoming extinct every day.  Much of this is due to habitat destruction.
