The site license for Wolfram Mathematica has been renewed through August 6, 2014.
Single-user licenses for versions 8 and later generated through the Wolfram Portal have been automatically renewed, and no additional steps are needed. E-mails were sent out to all registered users (one per key) indicating that the expiration date was automatically extended to August 6, 2013, but that was a system error on Wolfram’s end. The licenses expire on August 6, 2014 and will renew automatically before that date. Licenses generated through the Wolfram Portal do not require a Duke network connection.
Anyone using version 7 or earlier will need to follow the old license generation process to generate a new password to renew. Please visit the OIT Software Licensing site and order the software again to view the instructions.
Those managing computers with the lab version of the software installed will need to visit the OIT Software Licensing site and order the software again to view the updated lab key.
The OIT Labs license server has not yet been updated, but will be before the license expires.
