Avani Desai is the current lab manager and research technician for the Sipkins lab. She joined the lab in June 2020 following her graduation from Duke University with a B.S. in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Global Health. During her undergraduate career, she conducted research in the Tata lab at Duke, investigating the regeneration of alveolar stem cells. After her time at the Sipkins lab, Avani plans to go to medical school.
