Pratt’s GREENngineering team wins the GREEN DEVIL SMACKDOWN!!

Congratulations to the Green Devil Smackdown Champions, greengineering.  Battling 63 teams, greengineering  put its emissions into submission over the eight week competition.

In addition to glory, greengineering will receive the Smackdown championship belt to display, a congratulatory letter from President Richard Brodhead, and up to $2,000 in carbon offsets.

All individuals who took at least four of the weekly challenges were included in a random drawing  to win Smackdown prizes. Kealy Devoy won a new bicycle,  Meg Barker won an Amazon Kindle, and Brooks Pearson won a basketball ticket package.

Thank you to all Smackdown participants who fought to reduce your emissions and help Duke become carbon neutral by 2024.

The Green Devil Smackdown is an initiative of Sustainable Duke in Office of the Executive Vice President.  Visit www.sustainability.duke.edu or e-mail sustainability@duke.edu for more information.
