About the Project

Welcome, all! My name is Parker, and I am here to lead us through a brief investigation into the interests, passions, fears, and thoughts of adolescent writers and artists to try to grasp why some students write (or draw, or sculpt, or sing, or flute) for pleasure and others relegate themselves to creating only when prompted. Our investigation will be supported by interviews of adolescents, young adults and professional educators.

    I think this is a cool project and you can do a lot of cool things with it. Were you thinking of including videos/ photos of the students? I think that would be a great way to make the blog more engaging (and possibly spark a teacher-blog revolution across Durham)….you never know.

    P.S.

    I like this theme better than the other one by the way. Maybe you could use different colours for different post titles? That would be fun & student-friendly :)
