This quick tutorial will show you a tip for speeding up your scanning and processing workflow if you have lots of individual photos to scan.
In the scan software of your choice (MPS supports both Image Capture and VueScan), place as many photos on the scanning bed as you can fit. Don’t worry about getting them perfectly straight. Scan the entire page and save as a TIFF.
Open that file in Photoshop. Click File > Automate > Crop and Straighten Photos.
Photoshop will think for a moment and then return with individual files, cropped and straightened, for each of the photos that you had scanned. You can now save each file individually or edit them however you like.
