Stephanie Wormington

Stephanie is a first year doctoral student in the developmental psychology department. She received her B.A. in psychology in 2010 from Reed College, where she worked for a year as a research assistant in several psychology labs. Stephanie’s main research interests involve changes in academic motivation and engagement across adolescence, and how different types of social relationships support or dampen motivation. She is also interested in how different types of motivation might combine, and how these patterns differentially predict adjustment in and outside the classroom. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys volunteering, baking, playing volleyball, and reading.
