Michael is a first year graduate student. He graduated with honors research distinction from Ohio State University with a B.S. in psychology, minoring in chemistry. His current interests include STEM learning and student motivation in STEM fields, the development of intelligence beliefs and epistemic beliefs, and achievement goal theory. He is also a TA for Psychology 11 at Duke.
