Jenessa Malin is a doctoral student in the Department of Human Development and Quantitative Methodology at the University of Maryland, College Park. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Duke University and completed her Graduation with Distinction thesis in the Linnenbrink-Garcia Lab. Jenessa is interested in parental influences on the development of immigrant children. She is particularly interested in educational outcomes, including school readiness and early academic achievement.
