The Duke Campus Farm is both an educational and working farm serving the Duke and Durham communities. Our goal is to provide the university with fresh, local and sustainable produce while simultaneously creating educational opportunities around food and agriculture.

Private contributions allow us to:

  • expand our educational offerings to the Duke and Durham communities – including workshops, tours and field trips, and academic research opportunities for students,
  • build more permanent infrastructure, such as a pavilion with an outdoor classroom and kitchen space for educational and community gatherings,
  • expand our growing operation and reach of our produce,
  • provide additional paid internship opportunities for students.
