The UN Climate Change Negotiations Practicum is an advanced graduate-level course offered at the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University. In addition to regular class sessions taught by a team of expert faculty, students enrolled in the course are working with a set of stakeholders to extend their capacity and influence in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
From November 28th to December 9th, the class will work at the front lines of the 17th UNFCCC Conference of the Parties meeting in Durban, South Africa – where the world’s 192 countries will meet to forge an international agreement to combat climate change.
