This site is chock-full of all you need to know about voting in North Carolina, including how to figure out where you vote and how to get a ride to the polls.

We hope you will vote in 2011, either during Early Voting (from October 20th-November 5th) or on Election Day this November 8th.  Many of you have been lucky to take great courses in Economics, Public Policy or Political Science–what use is our knowledge about government and policy if we don’t use it to shape the policies and government of the communities in which we live!

Some Duke students prefer to vote by absentee in the state in which their parents reside.   Many states require that you request absentee ballots a month before election day; others allow you request absentee ballots as late as November 1st.  This website is a great resource for those who wish to vote by absentee (including any Duke student abroad!).
