Hey there! I’m Victoria Png, and I’m a sophomore from Northvale, NJ (a small town in the suburbs of New York City). I am a Mechanical Engineering major with a certificate in Markets and Management. SWE played a huge role in my transition to college, so I am very excited to continue my involvement as our section’s Recruitment and Public Relations Chair this year. During my freshman year, I served on the executive board as a Freshman Delegate, and then was nominated to attend SWE’s Collegiate Leadership Forum in Minneapolis, Minnesota over the summer as a SWE Future Leader. So now, in addition to my duty as a section officer, I am involved with our Region Council Team (Region D, which includes all the Southeastern sections, both collegiate and professional, of SWE)  and national committees. Outside of SWE, I work at the Duke University Medical Center, take part in American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Admissions Ambassadors, play intramural sports, and definitely support our basketball team as a Cameron Crazie!
