Fannie Mitchell Career Exchange (FMX)
Saturday Feb 4, throughout the day on Duke’s campus!
FMX provides an opportunity for students to interact with successful alumni in various careers and ask questions “off the record” in a casual, nonjudgmental atmosphere.
Workshop slots are filling up quickly, so don’t delay in registering and volunteering to become a Liaison online at http://www.dukeexchange.com . If your desired workshop is closed, you are also welcome to join the waitlist, as slots may become available closer to the event. However, keep in mind that you cannot be waitlisted for a full workshop and registered for an open workshop for the same timeslot.
Motivated students who want additional one-on-one access to specific alumni can volunteer to be an FMX Liaison. As a Liaison, you will meet and speak to your assigned alumni speakers at a special dessert reception on Friday, February 3rd; assist FMX organizers with room setup; escort alumni to and introduce them at their workshop sessions; take attendance of workshop participants; and receive a free t-shirt. Liaison applicants will be notified if they are selected and notified of next steps shortly. Please email dukeexchange@daa.duke.edu if you have any questions. |
