Duke Pre-Vet Society is Duke University’s forum for aspiring veterinarians. Advised by Dr. Vickie Knight Eason, the club serves as an opportunity for students at Duke to discuss the pre-veterinary school path, to meet fellow pre-vet students and to learn of nearby animal work opportunities. It aims to invite speakers, specifically veterinarians from various fields of practice and veterinary school admissions counselors, and visit regional points of interest every semester. PVS is a wonderful on-campus resource for all students committed to or simply interested in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine.
Interested in joining? Duke PVS meets during the evening in Biological Sciences room 073. Meetings are announced by e-mail through the pre-vet listserv. Sign up for our listserv and be sure to join us on our collegiatelink page.
