The Cairo Program
DukeEngage Cairo is an American civic engagement program in Egypt. 2012 marks DukeEngage’s fifth summer in Cairo, so it will be building on existing cooperation and collaboration with local NGOs and community partners. The 11 participants are students at Duke University who are passionate about volunteerism and humanism- two components that make DukeEngage Cairo a program that is committed to strengthening the spirit of civic engagement.
