About Dagbedji Fagnisse

I am a member of the class of 2014. Currently, I am serving as the Publications and Archives Chair for DukeAFRICA. Don't blame the man behind the camera, blame the lighting.

Akwaaba

Welcome (back) to DukeAFRICA!
This past Thursday 9/7 marked the launch of DukeAFRICA activities for Fall 2012 – Spring 2012. But more important, it was the opportunity for freshmen (and returning upperclassmen) to be introduced to the DukeAFRICA community, and learn how to get involved this year. We will soon update this website with all the openings. Details have already been sent via our list-serv. If you are not on it, make sure to send an email to contact@dukeafrica.info to request to be added.
While enjoying the tasty food catered from Palace Intl, and after mingling for some time, we got to hear about Tiffany’s recent trip to Ghana, and Nyuol’s perspectives on how we engage Africa. Then, Tinny invited members of exec and cabinet to introduced themselves. Afterwards, all guests got to sign-up for anything they were interested in.
If you could not make it, here is how to remain in the loop:

  • Make sure you are on the list-serv (if you are not email contact@dukeafrica.info)
  • Check out the weekly email blast due every Sunday night
  • Ask any exec members what’s happening soon or going on

Again, Akwaaba!
