DukeAfrica is an organization founded on the main principle of disseminating African culture and tradition to the Duke and greater Durham communities. Students can find a warm and welcoming environment in which to celebrate and understand the diverse history of the African continent. Through various events held throughout the school year, including discussions, movie nights, and study breaks, DukeAfrica spreads awareness regarding the current social, political, and economic state of Africa. Most importantly, we strive to aid the very establishments and organizations that provide for the advancement of the African people.
