This blog is an arena for exploration and interconnection. You will notice that all of the links here open a new window in your browser instead of navigating you away from the page. In this way, I hope to aid you in building a network of neural connections through the cognitive prosthetic of your computer interface as you sift through the virtual network of media, theory, and analysis that I have laid out before you.

Want to jump right into some theory? Check out my discussions on Time and Space, or my more broad archive of Social Theory.

More interested in concrete manifestations of theory than the theory itself? Maybe my Facebook/Catfish page will be more to your liking.

Interested in a particular phrase or theorist? Try entering it into the search bar at the bottom of this page and see where it takes you.

Maybe you’re just wondering what the heck all of this means to me? Why it matters? How it all relates? My Meta-Reflection page is the place to go.

There is no right or wrong place to start; all pages will flow into others and lead you in unique and different directions. You are free to follow your own forking paths. So what are you waiting for?

General note: Every effort has been taken to make all of the resources used in this blog as accessible as possible to anyone, Duke affiliated or not, who might be reading it. However, some of the readings that we studied over the course of this seminar were shared with us via Duke servers, so there are some links that may require a Duke University ID to view. As an alternative, full bibliographical information has been provided for all sources at the bottom of each page.
