The Main Event

Welcome to the official site for the second annual North Carolina Law and Policy Symposium, entitled: “Bringing Student Involvement to Community Organizations.” The symposium focuses on promoting student involvement in pressing criminal justice topics such as reentry work in innocence cases, juvenile justice, and death penalty policy.

An exciting set of events is planned for Thursday and Friday, March 21-22. The Thursday night community event will be held at a Carroll Hall Room 111 at UNC.  All of the Friday events will take place at UNC Law.  Click here for more information on directions and parking.

For your convenience, descriptions of all events can be accessed here.  All events are free and open to the public, however we ask that you RSVP here.

This student-organized symposium is presented by student organizations at Appalachian State University, Campbell Law School, Elon Law School, Duke Law School, and UNC Law—this year’s host.
