Visiting Journalists


In conjunction with the Media Fellows program, at the Sanford School of Public Policy, the CFFS regularly hosts journalists from across the French-speaking world. The 6-week program involves a variety of activities: seminars, collective projects with Duke faculty, class visits and interaction with undergraduate and doctoral students.

During spring 2014, March 22- April, the Media Fellow is:

Olfa Riahi, Independent Journalist, Tunis, Tunisia.

Her investigations have focused recently on 2 main issues in post-revolutionary Tunisia:

  • Government corruption, especially in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • Death penalty reform
